Same House System
Signature system is one of the most simplified house systems that are still used. Here, Ascendant is only considered to define the first rise and home sign starts at the zero level of this sign. Each of the following signs is in accordance with the following house until the circle is complete. This system is the main system in the tradition of Hellenistic astrology and is still used in Vedic astrology.
The same House system also divides ecliptics in twelve pieces of 30 degrees, but the first home CUSP is defined by Ascendant or the point of sunrise. This system is mainly used today in a higher latitude, especially above 60 degrees, where the placidean system is quite distorted. This represents the base for all other quadrant home systems even though the exact points are calculated differently. If the heavenly Equator is divided into twelve, and these divisions are projected on ecliptic, we get a regiomontanus system. Most are not used at this time, but it is an important predecessor of the most commonly used system in modern Western Astrology - Placidus home system.
Plasidus.
The plasidus home system is based on each degree of ecliptic which moves from nadir to the horizon, and from the horizon until the middle of Eve.
